THERE were a good many onlookers, but few bidders, for a 62-acre farm at Clogheen, Co Tipperary, last Friday afternoon.

The land, which was guided at €10,000 per acre, reached 440,000 in two bids, having opened at €400,000.

The farm was withdrawn from auction when it failed to meet the reserve.
