Cork leads €57m REPS bill

CORK now leads the table for the most farmers still waiting for their REPS payments, A total of €10,062,600 remains to be paid to 1,623 farmers in Co Cork.

According to figures given last week by Agriculture Minister Brendan Smith, 9,259 farmers around the country are waiting for REPS payments totalling €57,405,800.

Co Kerry remains a REPS blackspot also with 1,267 farmers waiting for €7,855,400.
