Factory intake up 25% compared to last year

Factory quoted prices ranged from 345 to 340 cents/kg (123p to 121p/lb) as a base for the kill on Tuesday, with no indicators of any significant change expected for the balance of the week.

The weekly intake at factories has gone around 25% higher than for the same period in 2007, which is not helping a weak market situation.
