LAMB prices have rallied slightly at the factories this week, but the overall trade is still disappointing for sheep farmers.

The factory quotes are 3 to 5 cents/kg stronger overall, depending on the base price at individual factories the previous week.

The increase has been welcomed by farmers, but the profit margin continues to disappoint lamb finishers.
