EU offer to Brazil

THE EU offered to import more Brazilian bioethanol to progress the failed global trade talks — in return for better access to Brazil’s markets for EU exporters.

The EU wanted big developing economies such as Brazil to open up their markets in icars and chemicals in return for opening up the EU’s farm markets.
