Department prepares to publish payment details

DEPARTMENT of Agriculture officials are finalising administrative arrangements for the publication of the details of EU payments to farmers on the www.agriculture.gov.ie website.

They will shortly advise farmers of the details to be published, and of their rights under the Data Protection Acts of 1988 and 2003. Publication is required by a European Council regulation.

It has been confirmed that the beneficiary’s name, the address line immediately preceding County on the Department’s client database, and the payment amount will be published.
