A HIGH per-acre price was achieved last Tuesday for a 21-acre farm at Rossmore, Clonakilty. Offered in lots, all but 3.3 acres sold for €30,000 per acre.

The holding went to final offers last week and three of the four lots on offer sold. These included the farmhouse, yard and 2.4 acres which is believed to have made in excess of its guide price of €260,000.

Two separate lots of 11.4 acres and 3.2 acres also made more than the guide price of €25,000 per acre.
