Sorghum may fill the grain gap
Chris Corry, the council’s senior director of international operations, said, “Our goal here is to capitalise on this opportunity to make Europe a consistent buyer of sorghum beyond this crisis situation.”
The EU feed grains shortage is worse than he expected. “They have a real big problem over here with grain supplies. We are hearing Europe will need 17 to 18 million tonnes of feed grains next year.”
