STOCK markets and property values have been going through a turbulent period. Land sales have slowed too, with fewer holdings being sold at auction, and prices appear to be easing.

Reliance on the investor market slows land markets down

The residential and land markets have been over-reliant on the investor market for the buoyant trade of the past two years.

While house prices soared, land sales went up too, from €4000 to 5,000 per acre to 20,000 to 25,000 per acre, in a relatively short time.
