Murphy is champion calf handler

PAUL MURPHY of Banteer was the champion handler in the annual calf show held recently by the Young Members Association of the Irish Holstein Friesian Association in Cork.

He was also the champion junior handler. The intermediate, senior and mature handler titles went to Robert Forrest, Margaret Murphy and Conor Morley, respectively. Along with the four runners-up, they represented Cork in national finals which concluded in Tullamore yesterday.

John A Forrest’s Coolroehouse Indianink was the champion calf in the Cork event.
