THE ability of dairy farming to deliver income has stood the test once again like no other sector of farming.

Dairy farming is tough and demanding. The seven day week takes its toll and can be very demoralising when times are tough, and rising production costs eat into lower returns.

Nonetheless, it is one of the few farm enterprises which can be relied upon to deliver stable income, with the potential to defy the odds and bounce back in the face of gloomy predictions.
