Export plant flat rate quotes are 130 to 136 cent per kg. The welfare bonus stays at 2 cent per kg on average. The pork slaughtering price range stays at 132 to 138 cent. Other IFA market estimates are also unchanged, €52 to 56 for 32 kg weaners, with sow prices at €26 to 28 per cwt liveweight.

With prices continuing to strengthen in the main EU pig producing countries, the average Irish price, at 129 cent has fallen behind the EU average of 135 cent, according to IFA.
