First of new season lamb appears

MOVEMENT in prices at the factories continues to be slow, but any change this week has, at least, been in the upward direction, albeit only by a few cents per kg.

First of  new season lamb appears

A base price of 386 cents/kg (138p/lb) was the general run at the factories Tuesday, when processing resumed after the holiday week-end.

The usual bonus payment of 6 cents/kg (2p/lb) applies for quality.
