Waste deadline extended

AGRICULTURE Minister Mary Coughlan has extended to Friday, June 29 (from March 31) the deadline for submitting drawings and other details needed for Farm Waste Management Scheme applications.

Newly revised Standard Costings have also been put in place, enabling farmers to better assess financial implications of farmyard investments, and speed up the application approval process.

The new costings will be applied to all letters of approval to commence works issued since January 1.
