The group, which has been playing the Lotto virtually since it began, is all male. Yesterday morning they took the bus from Holycross to collect their winnings.
Liam Byrne has been organising the group. He said they did not employ any special tactics in choosing their numbers.
“How did we pick our numbers? We put them in a hat and pulled them out — simple as that.
“Some members of the syndicate have changed down through the years. All of us work in Roadstone in various roles.”
