Pigs 149c/kg in Ireland, 153c in EU-25

PIG prices are unchanged at 154 to 158 cent/kg this week, with spot prices of 162 cent being paid, according to IFA.

With suppliers to factories increasing, year to date throughput has just passed the 2005 figure.

Export plants quote 154 to 158 cent flat rate, with 4c extra for welfare pigs.
