Pigs 141c in Ireland, 153c in EU-25

PIG prices ranged from 148 to 152 cent/kg this week, according to IFA, who reported spot prices as high as 154 cent.

Export plants mostly quote 148 cent to 152 cent flat rate, with 6c extra for welfare pigs.

The pork slaughtering price range was 148 to 153 cent. Other IFA price estimates are €52 to €56 for 32kg weaners, and €31 to €35 per cwt liveweight for sows.
