Very strong trade for butcher’s lambs

THE lamb trade is steady this week with prices unchanged at the factories, where supplies continue strong.

All factories operating on Monday and Tuesday quoted a similar base price of 330 cents/kg (118p/lb).

In the marts, there was a very strong trade for butcher’s lambs which saw prices improve by as much as €2 per head on Monday.
