Prospects good for sustained market recovery

Processors’ quotes have increased by 6 to 8 cents/kg (2p or 3p/lb) this week.

The trade opened on Monday with a general base price of 325 cents/kg (116p/lb), which was slightly up on last week, but a further increase for Tuesday brought the base to 331 cents/kg (118p/lb), an indication of the direction the trade is going.
