CALLS on IFA to withdraw from the National Partnership cannot be ruled out.

Farmers want out of National Partnership

Farmer anger is now growing over the Government's failure to deliver the Nitrates Directive at 10kg of organic nitrogen per hectare, with a derogation to 250kg, which IFA says was agreed in the Partnership.

Counties which opposed IFA's signing up to the agreement such as Limerick because they felt that the agreement offered very little to farmers, are now telling IFA HQ, "We told you so".
