BORD Bia teed off yesterday on a major promotion to increase sales of Irish meat as part of its Ryder Cup sponsorship.

Golf to bring Ireland’s food to the fore

The food board is part of the Ryder Cup sponsorship partnership which includes Fáilte Ireland, AIB and Waterford Crystal under the banner Ireland 2006.

Around one billion people across 150 countries are expected to watch the competition on television when it is held in Ireland for the first time in September.
