Second consecutive week of stronger prices
There has been a lift of 3 to 6 cents/kg (1p or 2p/lb) across the country, which has provided base prices ranging from 319 to 325 cents/kg (114p to 116p/lb). It’s the second consecutive week of stronger prices, but there is still a bit to go for farmers to regain lost ground in the market since a few weeks ago.
In the marts, the numbers on offer continue strong, and there has been some improvement in prices this week.
