Date set for scheme application returns

THE closing date for receipt of applications under the 2006 single payment scheme and the 2006 disadvantaged areas scheme is 5.30 pm on Monday, April 24.

Agriculture and Food Minister Mary Coughlan has also confirmed that a personalised application form, with pre-printed details, will be posted to all farmers who applied under the 2005 schemes.

“The details are pre-printed as a service to applicants. However, the responsibility rests with the applicant to examine the pre-printed details carefully and to ensure that they are correct.
