IFA membership reaches new peak

Irish Farmers Association national and county officers were congratulated last week for helping to boost IFA’s fully paid up membership by more than 600 in 2004.

IFA National Treasurer Padraig Walshe said that it was particularly pleasing that the Association could achieve its highest membership ever in its 50th anniversary year.

He said 3,000 branch officers around the country and the regional development staff can be justifiably proud.
