Raise for partnerships

MILK Production Partnership income ceilings for participation in On Farm Investment Schemes are to be raised significantly.

Up to now, the same ceilings applied as for individuals 450 Income Units in the Farm Waste Management and the Dairy Hygiene Schemes. For Partnerships, which aim to pool the resources of up to three dairy farmers, the income ceiling will be multiplied by the number of farmers (quota holders) in the partnership. Grant-rates and other eligibility criteria are unchanged. (Standard Income Units used for establishing the extent of farming and non-farm activity are equivalent to €254 of gross income, in the case of non-farm activity.)
