Shake-up on the way as Dairygold eyes future

THE new chief executive of Dairygold Co-op, Jerry Henchy, quoted the billionaire American investor Warren Buffett to make a telling point during a wide ranging interview with Irish Examiner Farming last week.

“You find out who’s swimming naked when the tide goes out.”

Mr Henchy, who has been in his new post with Dairygold for the past three months, said the tide went out in the dairying industry this year.
