Foot-and-mouth hits Argentina

Argentina: A case of foot-and-mouth disease has been confirmed among pigs in a slaughter house in Argentina.

Senasa, the country's animal and food inspection agency, said it was not a serious problem and would not have any impact on exports.

“This was a very small outbreak in a province that does not provide beef for export,” the agency said.
