IRISH dairy farmers face a massive income drop of 110 million euro after the 10c dip in milk prices so far this year.

Hardest hit will be Cork dairy farmers who are destined to suffer an income loss of 31.8 million euro said Billy Timings, Fine Gael spokesman on Agriculture and Food.

Speaking from Brussels last night Mr Timmins called on the EU to act to act in the interest of dairy farmers.
