PIG prices are unchanged at the larger slaughter plants this week, according to IFA.

Prices range from 136 to 144 cent/kg, with demand from Northern Ireland remaining steady and forward prices of €1.37/kg on offer from October to March.

Dawn and Galtee quoted a flat rate 140 to 143 cent/kg net, with 136 to 142 on offer at Glanbia. Welfare pig quotes averaged €1.45 to €1.48/kg.
