DAIRYGOLD Co-op will finalise a strategy for restructuring its four dairy processing plants and its product portfolio, before the end of March.

"We will be looking at operating off two sites or possibly even one and to do that, we will have to upgrade the chosen site or sites to cater for our milk pool requirement", said co-op chief executive Jerry Henchy.

"We will be looking at investing in technology in a number of areas, from dairy processing to the consumer foods area and in the administration area as well.
