Deadline for submissions extended

Deadline for submissions extended

The interdepartmental and interagency group was set up by the Department of Agriculture and Food late last year to develop a national strategy and best practices to ensure the co-existence of genetically modified crops with conventional and organic farming.

It followed the determination by the EU Commission that rules governing the co-existence of GM crops with non-GM crops were best dealt with at national level.
