ABOUT 900 clerical staff in Department of Agriculture local offices around the country have stepped up industrial action in a row over promotional outlets.
Clerical dispute threatens disease eradication

Members of the Civil and Public Service Union, who had not been dealing with telephone and fax queries, have now regionalised their dispute on a rota basis by withdrawing from counter services in the afternoon.

This action took place in Waterford, Cork, Tipperary North and Tipperary South and Clare last week, and has been introduced in Limerick, Kerry, Galway and Mayo this week.
