MUNSTER dairy farmers will at last have figures this autumn to lay to rest their doubts about full payment by processors for their milk.

Farmers in Limerick have voiced their concerns frequently in recent years over milk test results received by some farmers.

“I believe that the time has come when all testing of milk should be carried out independent of the processors to ensure that the system is not only fair, but also seen to be fair to producers”, said Richard Kennedy, chairman Limerick IFA County Dairy Committee.
