IFA fails landowners who rent their land

THE vast majority of landowners who rent out their land are not wealthy people, but IFA seems more than willing to inflict further hardship upon them, under the Fischler Reform of the CAP.

There are many reasons why land is rented out by about 30,000 Irish farm families, usually by necessity rather than choice.

They soon become familiar with the many problems of renting land, but they have to depend on it for income.
