Market value fall for over-age stock

Quoted prices held firm across the country at last weeks level of 246-235 cent/kg (88p-84p/lb) for R/O grade stock, but it was difficult to get much over the quoted prices out of the processors as they appeared to be tightening on price again, with more cattle becoming available.

The vibes in the industry are prices will come under renewed pressure as soon as supplies - which have increased over the past two weeks - build a little further relieving any supply pressure.
