Marts: The trade for new season lamb has remained steady at the factories, with supplies beginning to show a gradual weekly increase, while hoggets remain the dominant sector.

Base prices at the export plants are ranging from 532 to 518 cent/kg (190p-185p/lb) remaining stable over the past week.

Some lots are continuing to command 550-555 c/kg for quality supplies where market demand warrants.
