Farmers prefer staying in deal

THE vast majority of farmers feel that staying out of the National Partnership Agreement will harm farmers incomes, according to an opinion poll for the IFA.

Almost nine out of 10 farmers are unhappy with the way the Government has dealt with the issue of farm incomes in recent months, the survey by MRBI on behalf of the Irish Farmers Association shows.
