AGRICULTURE Minister Joe Walsh has failed to honour commitments he made to farmers, according to the IFA.

President John Dillon yesterday said Mr Walsh had not delivered on his pledge to farmers during the tractor protest that their concerns could be met through the partnership negotiations.

“Despite three weeks of intensive negotiations, the Government has stonewalled all the way and refused to make any significant concessions to address the low income situation and loss of confidence in farming,” Mr Dillon said.
