126 benefit from horticulture grant aid

A grant aid package of €1.4m for capital investments in the horticulture sector has been announced by Minister of State Noel Treacy.

A total of 126 applicants were approved under the scheme for this year.

The grant aid will assist in the purchase of plant and equipment across the full range of specialisations in field vegetables, soft fruit, mushrooms, protected crops and nursery stock.
