All factories quoted a base of 336 cents/kg (120p/lb) on Monday, a price which remained stable for Tuesday’s kill. Some processors had dropped prices by 6 cents/kg (2p/lb) late last week, as prices weakened in France, but that was short lived, with the return to sheep farmers fully recovering this week.
