IFA launches farm guide scheme

Ireland: The IFA has launched a guide to farm schemes including details of the new single farm payment and other support measures.

John Dillon, president, said it is important that farmers are provided with the necessary information so that they can familiarise themselves with the new payment system and plan for the future.

Agri-sector manager, Bank of Ireland, Liam D’Arcy, a partner with the IFA in the guide, said major challenges lie ahead for farmers.
