Guild shows it can be done

WHILE guilds in some parts of the country are struggling Carrigaline guild in Co Cork, which was formed in 1961, is today still going strong.

The membership is increasing, with members from the surrounding ICA guilds coming to Carrigaline to join in various activities.

A business meeting is held on the first Thursday of each month with a guest speaker. Talks are on a wide variety of subjects supporting local issues and social awareness.
