Dairygold results to show upturn

Dairygold Co-op is expected to report a substantial turnaround in the performance of its business when it reveals its 2003 annual results shortly.

Chairman John Walsh said Dairygold is now better positioned to go forward with confidence, to consolidate and grow its business and to underpin a successful dairy industry in its region.

The co-op is in the process of a major restructuring programme which has already resulted in 500 redundancies.
