COLD weather and demand from Eastern Europe and Russia lifted EU pig prices by almost 3% in the past week.

The EU mainland average pig price went to almost 135.29 cent /kg.

Recent prices for Grade E pigs averaged 130.20 cent /kg in France; 137.26 cent/kg in Germany; and 132.22 cent/kg in Ireland.
