Tractor registrations highest since 1990

SOME 271 new tractors were registered in the opening month of the year.

The figure compares well with the trend over recent years, apart from 2003, when the IFA tractorcade brought a spate of registrations due to a backlog.

The figure is the highest level of new tractor registration since 1990, and compares well with 2002 and 2001 when 263 and 249 respectively were registered.
