PIG prices are 4c per kg lower this week, ranging from €1.32 to €1.35 at most processing plants, with a 6c/kg bonus for welfare pigs.

Prices quoted by pork slaughterers are from €1.34 to €1.40/kg.

Weaner prices are at €48 to €50 for 32 kg, and IFA reports sow prices at €28 to €31/cwt liveweight, or 80 to 88c/kg.
