IFA agree on final partnership deal

The IFA announced last night that it had agreed final details of a partnership deal with the Government which provides for improvements in a number of key schemes for agriculture.

John Dillon, president, will recommend acceptance of the agreement to the IFA national council at a meeting in Dublin today.

It will be then up to the council, having considered the proposals, to decide on the IFA’s participation in the new programme, Sustaining Progress.
