Ray Ryan, Agribusiness Correspondent, EU farm ministers will meet again in Luxembourg today to try to agree a radical reform of the Common Agricultural Policy.

Progress was made at negotiations last week and there were hopes an agreement could be reached on compromise proposals tabled by EU Farm Commissioner Franz Fischler.

But the plans for the milk and cereal sectors proved a stumbling block to a deal being finalised, with Ireland and France among member states with serious concerns.
