Henchy's CAP warning

DAIRYGOLD chief executive Jerry Henchy has warned that CAP reform will have a huge impact on the evolution of farming in Ireland.

"It is going to change the way people buy the raw materials for their farm and it is going to change how many people are involved in farming", he said.

As he moves to position the near €1 billion a year turnover co-op to face the future, he said changes in farming structures are on the way.
