Dairygold interim prices for cereals

Dairygold yesterday announced an interim 2003 price of 93/tonne for feeding barley, 110/tonne for malting barley, 100/tonne for feed wheat and 90/tonne for oats, exclusive of VAT.

The interim prices are inclusive of a top up 6/tonne premium, payable to all grain suppliers who meet the input purchase requirement of 25/tonne of green grain supplied. The first instalment of the 2003 grain price will not include payment of the 6/tonne top-up premium. Instead, this will be paid shortly after the end of the harvest.
